Healing Hearts and Empowering Minds
I earned my undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Science from Kansas State University, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding how families, relationships, and early experiences shape who we become. I then completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Fort Hays State University, where I received extensive clinical training and worked directly with children, teens, and families. It was during this time that I deepened my skills in trauma informed care and developed a strong appreciation for how much trust and connection matter in the counseling process.
Over time, I found myself especially passionate about working with young adults and adolescents who have experienced trauma or are navigating behavioral challenges. I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Problematic Sexual Behavior Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
At the heart of my work is the belief that people do well when they feel safe, understood, and supported. My goal is to create a space where they can feel just that.
